Back-to-School Retreat
“Learn it and live it!”
August 11-13, 2017
School is about to start up again and it’s a time of excitement, fun, and discovery for many children. But, for some children, it means showing up at school without crayons or pencils, notebooks or glue; without the supplies they need. Sadly, today, parents struggle to pay for them and schools are unable to provide them as well. However, the body of Christ can. We have four ways you can help:
ways to be a part of our Back-to-School Retreat
#1 BUY SUPPLIES FROM A PRE-PRINTED LIST
At this time of year, many stores have school supply lists. Purchase a backpack, fill the backpack with the supplies and label it with the grade and school name.
#2 BUY WHATEVER SUPPLIES YOU CAN
Crayons, colored pencils, pens, markers, notebook paper, notebooks, spiral notebooks, pencils, pens, glue, glue sticks, scissors, and/or if you can, nice backpacks. Bring them to the church for us to assemble.
#3 GIVE MONEY TO OUR BACK-TO-SCHOOL FUND
Donate money and we will purchase the supplies, fill the backpacks, and provide them to those in need.
#4 THE OPTION FOR EVERYONE - PRAY
Pray for us that we raise the needed funds and recruit enough helpers. Pray for the children, that we find those in need. Pray we can help and encourage all to grow closer in Christ.

Friday Night Praise & Worship Experience!

Hosted by the TNB SWAT Team! Come join us to get your praise on and kick off our back-to-school retreat right.
Laugh & Learn Saturday Sessions
08/12/17
10am - 4pm
Learn principles that will help you “live” out your faith while participating in uplifting dialogue and hands-on projects. Lunch will be provided.
Saturday “Worship to Live” Service
08/12/17
6pm - 7pm
Join us to learn how our lives should be an expression of worship. We will review the principals of our retreat followed by a “sweet” reception afterwards.
Second Sunday with SWAT!
08/13/17
11:30am
Join us during our regular youth service to worship and receive a certificate of completion. Students that have attended all scheduled activities are eligible for back-to-school gifts after service.
