How Do I Meet People?
Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has small Bible studies held on Sunday mornings. We also host seasonal, off campus studies in the community at times designated by the group leader (as approved by elder leadership).
Our women groups give the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. The Women of Faith fellowship times are filled with powerful Bible study, prayer, as "iron sharpens iron". These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church and the greater community.
Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships and a whole lot of major decisions. The New Beginning welcomes young adult to our church provides a welcoming atmosphere for college and early-career aged young people. We challenge them to grow, while connecting to other members of our congregation for mentoring and leadership opportunities.
Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages.
the Mighty Men of God seek to meet to foster that spiritual accountability, while encouraging each other through the many battles "today's man" will face. Groups meet together on Sunday and as their schedules allow during the week to support and uplift the men of TNB.
Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. The church gives married couples the opportunity to seek counsel under approved ministry leadership and attend local marriage retreats/ workshops. These events refresh and inform with topics like: 5 False Faces of Love; Providing Disciple, Direction and Divine Affection and Marriage and Money.
Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers are carefully screened and developed in children’s instruction. The youth ministry of our church is recognized for their meaningful interaction and impactful learning. Our SWAT team meets bi-monthly to further develop the spirit of service with creative forms of expression and special projects for the youth of TNB.
