TNB Announcements 1-17-2021
-We continue to ask your prayers upon our first family. Please lift Pastor and Mother Washington and their entire extended family as they continue to press on for the prize and ministry to the body of Christ! We ask the Lord for continued strength and wisdom to the family concerning Mother’s care! -
-Our blessing box ministry is diligently moving forward. We are asking that the community PLEASE bring your donations to TNB during service OR contact a TNB member to contribute outside of service hours for our blessing box in the front drive. We still have room to be a blessing from our weekly pantry, BUT want to be accountable for what is going in and out of the blessing box!
-This upcoming Tuesday ‘Blessing Boxes” drive marks the beginning of our 2021 campaign of this portion of our ministry. We have given an enormous amount of food to local families during 2020 and we are excited to continue this service into the new year. We still need hands to help, so come on through to be a blessing – while being blessed at 10:00 am on January 19th– giving begins at 10:30!
-We continue to encourage those that choose to attend in person to get a copy of “Our Daily Bread” from our ministry reading table. There are some other reading materials as well, so feel free to grab and get your read on. We pray these materials will strengthen your faith and understanding into the new year.
-Blessings to Sister Gray for providing us notice of the 43rd annual Wilberta Williams Black History Essay Contest. This contest is sponsored by the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority in Topeka and is open to students grades 3-12 (deadline is Feb 6th, 2021). For more information OR an application, visit or contact Tami Farr-Smith @ 785-228-0659. We also have paper copies here at TNB on our resource table.
-Finally, we remind everyone that our teleconference line is still available for the community to listen in @ (712) 770-4856 OR (712) 770-4859 Access code 196595. Be in prayer as we seek to expand our technological and digital footprint further in 2021!
Be blessed and have a Christ-filled, Kingdom- minded week!
